Discover New Technology -”Made in Germany“!
This “Market Exploration Trip” is an organized business visit for a delegation of 8-15 German companies as part of a support project from the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL). Highly innovative and technologically advanced German companies from the “Horticulture and Greenhouse Technologies” sectors are looking forward to gaining an insight into the South African market, getting to know the potential for future business activities, meeting with important associations and institutions, and visiting interesting reference projects or South African companies from the sector.
The prevalence of individuals and companies who collect and dispose of drums with fraudulent AVCASA approval certificates necessitated a total rework of our system in dealing with plastic drum collectors and recyclers. Attached is the latest list of AVCASA approved plastic container recyclers and collectors; every single one was contacted personally to verify their operations and compliance. The list will be displayed within a day or two on the CLSA and AVCASA websites along with the current supporting documents under the Waste Management heading. AVCASA also issued an AVCASA Certificate of Approval (see attached example of the certificate for Chopchop Recycling) that has a limited validity and is renewable every year.
